Heather first became interested in holistic therapies when she began experiencing some health problems of her own. After two years of medical tests and different medications Heather became frustrated with her lack of progress and thus turned to alternative medicines. Within one month of receiving reiki treatments, Heather’s health had returned to normal. Amazed by the sudden improvements, she dedicated herself to learning more about alternative healing methods and the importance of focusing on the root of the problem rather than the symptom. She also discovered the dire importance of treating and maintaining the health and well being of the body, mind and soul, together.
At the moment Heather is working towards her Holistic Therapy Diploma at the Wild Rose College of Natural Healing and is certified in Reflexology, Ear Candling, Iridology, Raindrop Therapy, Crystal Therapy, Flower Essences and more. various diseases, health maintenance and relaxation.
Dr. James Dai received the highest point in the Alberta Provincial Exam of
Registered Acupuncturist in 2006 and he is a member of the Alberta Association
of Traditional Chinese Medical Doctors. In addition to his practice, he is the
academic dean of the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and
Acupuncture where he teaches acupuncture techniques, Chinese Herbal Medicine,
Tuina massage, Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and supervises the
student clinic.
Before coming to Canada, Dr. James Dai was
a Medical Doctor working in the acupuncture department in one of the biggest hospital in China. Currently, he is also a member of China Association of
Acupuncture which is the National Acupuncture Association in China and has been
invited to teach Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in USA, Chile,
Argentina and Hong Kong since 2000.
