Quantum Touch® Proven to be Effective in Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain
Adara L Walton submitted experimental results as a part of her doctoral thesis (Clayton College of Natural Health).
Results and findings compiled from the experimental and control groups demonstrated with high statistical significance that Quantum Touch was found to be effective for chronic pain when administered for 20 minutes.Improvement in skill/task (such as mobility) and a relaxing or calming effect was also seen in those who received the treatment. It was recommended that Quantum Touch be considered as a valid modality to administer alongside conventional treatments for chronic pain and more specifically musculoskeletal pain.

Here is a brief summary of her dissertation...
This research studied the issue of a relatively new holistic modality, Quantum-Touch, and its impact on adult clients with chronic musculoskeletal pain using two measurable forms - one to compile subjects’ pain ratings and one to assess improvement or lack thereof in individual skills and tasks.
In the final analysis, the results and findings compiled from the Experimental and Control groups demonstrated with high statistical significance, that Quantum-Touch hands-on healing was effective on chronic pain when administered for a minimum of 20 minutes on both men and women.
Further, it was evidenced that there was a positive impact on the skill/task level of those subjects who received Quantum-Touch hands-on healing.
Last, over the duration of the study, for those who received Quantum-Touch energy, there appeared to be a calming or relaxing effect resulting at the conclusion of the sessions. Therefore, logical reasoning resulting from the data collected and the t-test tables warrant that Quantum-Touch be considered as a modality to administer alongside with conventional treatment in the area of chronic pain management and specifically musculoskeletal pain.

Excruciating Back Pain
I was called over to another office where I work during the daytime as a biologist. My coworker told me that one of our senior citizens who worked at the office was in excruciating back pain and could I come over and "do my thing" as they were about ready to call for an ambulance. I rushed over. Lois, our senior worker, was sitting in a chair and pointed out the part of the back that was hurting and also indicated an area in front under her rib cage. I told her I was just going to place my hands on her back, and then "chase the pain". She is a very spiritual person within her religious teachings and I told her she could participate and help by praying. I spent about a 1/2 hour running the energy. By the end, she was free of pain and totally amazed. She told me later on that she gave testimony to the effects of the healing work at her church on Sunday. She said she had never felt, as strong as her beliefs were, that there really was such a thing as hands-on healing. She also told her doctor, who said that all kinds of things can happen and did not discount her story. For me, I was just relieved to bring her peace from her pain. She is a wonderful person - always helping others and it was awful to see her in such pain.

Danger of using core energy to treat patients - a warning to energy healersThis is to raise awareness to energy healers to be careful not to deplete ones core energy while doing a healing treatment.
There are masters in China use core energy to treat and balance energy of the patients. They also teach students how to use core energy to affect the patients. It is not commonly known that giving energy healing treatments can deplete ones of core energy leading to premature death. The following quotes give you an idea what can happen and the consequences:
“This means he (Master Duan Zhi Liang of Wuji qigong) uses his own “wei Qi” or emitted his own core energy to help balance the imbalances in his patients.”
“A recurring challenge many people experience is that of energy depletion after heavy healing session. Practitioners talk of feeling drained by their patients, and they seek ways to replenish their diminished qi. I have studied with many great qigong masters throughout China who are renowned for their healing abilities. I found they have certain qualities and techniques in common with each other. First, they are very conscious of replenishing and enhancing their qi each time after they treat a patient…… Second, they consciously remove any negative qi that may have attached itself to them…..They hold the view that they themselves as humble conduits for the universal qi flow….. They never say that they are sending their qi to the patients.”
“I found it curious that many qigong masters die at an early age. They are stricken with common diseases, many times the same as those of the patients that they treat. After a little research, I found that these masters held the view that they believed they were sending their own (core) qi to their patients. Some masters would only treat a few patients each day in order to preserve their qi. Others even charged for the amount of qi that they transmitted!”
“I had onestudent who was a massage therapist who came to me hoping to solve his problem. It seemed he always acquired the ailment of the person he was working on. I told him that this was quite common, and he has surprised.”

Garri teaches Wuji qigong and is the student of master Duan Zhi Liang (mentioned above) who started the qigong MD program in China. Since Duan is a medium healer, it follows all his graduate MD students only have medium healing ability and they also use their own energy to treat patients as master Duan. It is unfortunate that China did not find super high healers to teach MD program. Up till now as far as I can see, there is no way to judge the healing ability of qigong practitioners. When you are able to heal some diseases, together you have been practicing Chinese qigong for a while, particularly for many years and old, you are already raised to be the master or even grandmaster level. It is extremely misleading. Some masters in US charged U$500 per healing session and they are of medium level healing. Channelling qi effectively from the universe to heal is definitely the preferred and save method and you can treat a large number of patients without exhausting yourself. The most patients I treated in a day in the Health Care day was 30 and I was not a bit tired. But, in order for this to occur, one has to practice advanced high vibration medical qigong to prepare the body’s energy system to become an effective conduit for the universe qi flow, while at the same time built enough “wei qi” to protect infiltration by negative sick qi into the healer’s body during treatment.
